Profile

Jo Booth is a Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Gerontological Practice, in the Working with Adults and Older People research grouping. She is currently the “Postgraduate Research Degrees Coordinator”. http://www.gcal.ac.uk/nmch/research/postgrad.html

Her first degree in Nursing Studies was undertaken at Surrey University following which she completed a Nurse Education degree and PhD at the University of Manchester. Leaving a nurse consultant post in 2004 for full-time research her current research interests are focused on understanding the impact of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) on older people. She is also interested in how nurses manage LUTS and the influences on their practice.
