Lesley presently holds a Post Doctoral Scholarship in the Caledonian Nursing & Midwifery Research Centre and is a Lecturer in Adult Nursing in the pre-registration division of the school.

Lesley’s Ph.D. explored the relationship between deprivation and occupational major and fatal injuries in communities of Great Britain. Her research interests are in risk and inequalities in health for vulnerable groups and communities.
