Marie has a joint appointment as Lecturer/Practitioner in Gerontological nursing in conjunction with Glasgow Caledonian University and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (RAD Directorate).

Research interests include practice development and communities of practice and Leadership/NLP.

Phd studies comprise exploring effective educational processes to attain evidence-based practice in gerontological care settings
