Profile

Dr Jacqui Reilly has research interests in the field of healthcare associated infection. Her research experience span epidemiology and interventions in infection prevention and control and includes large observational studies, case control studies and interventional studies. She has presented and published papers on Healthcare Associated Infection (HAI) both at a national and international level.

She works part time in the university and in her other post is a Consultant Nurse Epidemiologist at Health Protection Scotland (HPS) and leads the programmes for HAI. She is also Head of Group for Healthcare Associated Infection and Infection Control in HPS, which encompasses: infection control, surveillance, antimicrobial resistance and decontamination.
